Class size limited to 15 students

Class size limited to 15 students

Course Includes Special Workshop with HUGH JACKMAN

Helmed by Broadway, Film and Television’s Rema Webb and Tyrone Henderson and in partnership with Nassau-Suffolk Academy of Music, we want to teach you why Audition Prep will give you an advantage! Join our fall classes to learn the skills of sight reading, ear training, cold reading, acting through music and monologues, and how to self tape.

What is Audition Prep?

At On Broadway, our focus is on mastering the ability to learn new music and text, quickly and thoroughly. You will be able to walk away from our classes having gained the ability to sing a piece of sheet music at first glance with ease, sing with improved vocal technique, and figure out the story you are trying to tell through a song or monologue, to name a few.

These are skills that help our students stand out from the typical young singer, musician or actor. We don’t just teach songs and monologues. We teach how music and storytelling works. For young people that are excited about music and acting, this is the class you want to enroll in.

What sets this program apart?

We are committed to supporting our students in every area of the performing arts industry that interests them. Our teachers are immersed in contemporary acting and musical theater, as well as being classically trained in acting and music. Our teachers also work closely with casting directors, school administrators and talent agencies. On Broadway receives requests for young talent on a regular basis from Telsey, Nickelodeon, Netflix, Disney, Sesame Street, NYU, AMDA, LaGuardia, Talent Unlimited and more! By taking this course, you will not only benefit from our instructors skill and expertise, but also our connections in this industry.

Audition Prep is not just one thing. On broadway offers training in ALL of the areas that a growing artist needs. Our students are highly prepared and confident to walk into any audition. “Every great dream begins with a dreamer. Always remember, you have within you the strength, the patience, and the passion to reach for the stars to change the world.”

- Harriet Tubman

Broadway's Rema Webb founded On Broadway PATP with a dream to create a place where any young person could come and have a one-of-a-kind musical theater education.

We encourage our students to be dreamers and reach for the stars.

On Broadway’s goal is not only to teach students the principles of Acting, Music & Dance, but also to offer invaluable mentorship. Our strengths-based curriculum provides students the opportunity and safe space to express themselves; where every student’s uniqueness is recognized and celebrated.

Our instructors are top professionals in the performing arts industry who guide our students with skill, energy, patience and a sense of humor.

On Broadway offers year round programming to train students ages 7-17 in the arts of Acting, Music, Dance and Performance.

“Boy did you exceed my expectations! The amount of love, welcoming arms and sincerity that came from all of the staff reassured me that I had made the right decision! You made sure every child felt safe; safe enough to take chances and put themselves out there.”
